A solar panel is a packaged interconnected assembly of solar
cells, also known as
photo-voltaic cells. The solar panel is
used as a component to offer electricity for commercial and
residential applications. Solar panels use light energy
(photons) from the sun to generate electricity through the
photo-voltaic effect.
